Delta Kappa Omega Alumni Chapter fosters alumni engagement and mentorship, building a brighter future for our community through leadership, service, and unwavering brotherhood since our establishment in March 2023.
Welcome to the home of the brothers of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., a chapter built on leadership, service, scholarship, loyalty, and unity. We are more than an organization; we are a brotherhood committed to uplifting our communities, developing strong men, and creating a lasting impact through purpose-driven action. From mentorship and community outreach to professional growth and fellowship, our chapter stands as a reflection of excellence, resilience, and the continued pursuit of progress. We honor the legacy of those who came before us while building a stronger future for those who follow.

Delta Kappa Omega was established in 2023 to serve the North Dallas area and communities. Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. represents brotherhood with purpose. We are committed to developing men who lead with integrity, serve their communities, support one another, and create a lasting impact for the generations that follow.
What makes Iota unique is our foundation. Built by men who understood responsibility, perseverance, and the importance of taking action, Iota continues to attract leaders who are willing to do the work.
Our work extends beyond fraternity membership. Through youth scholarships, educational programs, leadership development, and community service initiatives, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of others. We believe the greatest impact is achieved when community-minded organizations and businesses work together toward a shared purpose.
For us, brotherhood is more than a title. It is a lifelong commitment to four priorities of service, leadership, personal growth, and helping others move forward.
“Iota is where I connect with men who possess the heart to serve causes greater than themselves. When we synergize our efforts, the ripple effect is undeniable—transforming our families and uplifting communities outside our own. If your goal is genuine impact, your place is with Iota. If your focus lies elsewhere, seek an organization that fits those needs. But whatever you do, commit to moving the needle forward.”
“Iota reflects who I am and what I stand for. As a veteran, father, professional, and community volunteer, I believe true leadership is about serving others, leading by example, and creating opportunities for those who follow.”
“As a growing college student, the brothers welcomed me with open arms and helped me understand a world I knew little about. Iota’s vision of building a tradition aligned with my values of individuality, purpose, and creating my own path.”
“I consider myself a non-traditional pledge. I joined the Frat at age 60. Iota historically was founded by more mature older brothers, so upon learning that, it confirmed Iota was the perfect frat for me.”
On September 19, 1963, at Morgan State College (now Morgan State University), 12 students founded Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated®, and established the following purpose: “The development and perpetuation of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity, and Brotherhood among Men.”
As Iota Phi Theta continues to grow and strengthen, so will its commitment to make meaningful contributions to society in general, with particular emphasis in the African-American community. Throughout America, Iota Phi Theta® has come to represent excellence in all areas. The Fraternity is, and shall forever remain dedicated to its founders’ vision of Building a Tradition, Not Resting Upon One.
